Curcuma campanulatus
Herb, 20-30 cm high; rhizome ovoid, 1.5-2 by 0.7-1.5 cm; pseudostems absent. Leaves simple, distichous; petioles 15-20 cm long, with leaf sheath; blade elliptic, 10-15 by 5-6 cm, base cuneate, apex acute, margin entire, glabrous. Inflorescence terminal, appearing after vegetative part; peduncle 5-7 cm long; pedicel sessile; bracts 2, fuse at base, 2.5-3 by 1.8-2 cm, lobe 2, triangular, 1.5-2 by 1.4-1.7, apex acute, green. Flower white. Sepals 1-1.1 by 0.5-0.6 cm, ca. 4 mm split on 1 side, base amplexicaul, apex 3 lobes, white translucent. Petals; tube tubular, 2.5-3 cm long; lobes 3, lanceolate, 1-1.5 by 0.5-0.7 cm, apex acute, white. Stamens; lateral staminodes 2, spathulate, 1.3-1.5 by 0.4-0.5 cm, base attenuate, apex dentate, white; labellum spatulate, 1.5-1.8 by 1.2-1.5 cm long, apically 2-cleft, 0.4-0.5 cm deep, white with yellow patch at middle; anther crest obovate, 5-7 by 3-3.3 mm, apex round, white; anther 2, linear, 3.5-4 cm long, white. Pistil 1; stylode absent; ovary inferior, ovoid and compressed, 3-4 by 1.5-2 mm; styles 3-3.5 cm long, white; stigma cup-shaped, 1 mm long, with short hairy margin, exsert at anther crest, white.
