Bryophyllum pinnatum
Herb, 30-70 cm high, succulent. Leaves simple, opposite decussate, ovate, 8-11 by 5.5-7 cm, base obtuse, apex obtuse, margin dentate-crenate; petioles 2.5-3.5 cm. Inflorescences terminal, compound dichasium; peduncle ca. 55 cm, rachis ca. 30 cm., pedicel 1-1.5 cm long. Sepals: tube tubular, 2.7-3 by 0.9-1.2 cm; lobes 4, 0.6-1 cm long, apex acute, greenish red. Petals: tube, round at base, ca. 2.5 by 0.7-1 cm, green; lobes 4, 1.5-1.7 by 0.2-0.3 cm, apex acute, yellowish green and red at margin. Stamens 8, insert on corolla tube base; filament 1.3-1.5 cm long, yellowish green: anther 3-4 mm long, red. Pistils 4; ovaries superior, oblong, 5-7 mm long, 4 apocarpous; styles 1-1.2 cm long, white greenish.
